There exists a wild spirit within each of us... a strong, intuitive, creative self.
The ability to write, draw and paint is in everyone. Unconventional Bay Area master teachers, writer Leslie Kirk Campbell and painter Leigh Hyams, swiftly release and guide the creative force in beginners and enable those with experience to deepen their work. Participation in both visual art and writing workshops gives students the unusual opportunity to expand their understanding and personally experience the relationshop between the arts.

Leigh Hyams is a painter/teaching artist at U.C. Berkeley Extension, JFK University, Esalen Instutute and LaSerrania in Mallorca, Spain. Her drawings, paintings and artists books are in private and museum collections in this country and abroad. Her upcoming book is How Painting Holds Me on the Earth.

Leslie Kirk Campbell
is a poet, fiction, and non-fiction writer who has taught imaginative writing and creative process to children, adults and elders at universities and other venues throughout the country for 14 years. Her upcoming books are The Writing Faith and The Dawning, a book of short fiction..
